Carol Hofer began her work experience in 1989 as a Personal Banker at Mercantile Bank. Carol then worked as an Institutional Trust Administrator at Mercantile Bank from 1994 to 1998. After that, she served as an Assistant Vice President and Trust Administrator at BNY Trust Company of Missouri from 1998 to 2000. Following this, she worked as an Individual Consultant at TIAA-CREF from 2000 to 2009, responsible for field marketing and program promotion. From 2010 to 2018, she worked as an Adjunct Professor at Hickey College. In 2012, she joined Royal Banks of Missouri as a Retail Sales Manager/Assistant Vice President, overseeing the sales, operations, and business development of a banking branch, she then moved into the Retail Loan Relationship Manager position where she managed the Bank’s portfolio of real estate loans, acting as mortgage originator and Home Equity Loan underwriter. Carol then took the certification exam to receive her designation, Certified Treasury Professional, and in 2024 Carol became VP- Treasury Services where she assisted clients with cash flow optimization, payment solutions, remote deposit, and fraud prevention. Carol also held leadership positions in various organizations such as: Professional Women’s Alliance: President 2025, Secretary 2015, Fundraising co-chair 2016-2021; Lindenwood Park Neighborhood Association, Treasurer 2021-2024; Women in Insurance and financial Services (WIFS), Treasurer 2018-2020; Webster Groves DAR, Treasurer 2018-2022, Regent 2022-present); Hampton Chippewa Business Association, President 2019-2022, Vice president 2022-2024
From 1990 to 1992, Carol Hofer attended Webster University where she obtained a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Management.
