Harry Harris

Harry Harris serves as the Director of the TRIO Student Support Services program at the University of Missouri St. Louis (UMSL). He has served at UMSL for over 22 years in multiple departments including University Advising, Athletics, and the College of Nursing. Harry is a strong believer of being an active part of the community you live in and volunteers his time with multiple organizations. He is also an advocate for diversity, equity, and inclusion in education, a passion that is rooted in the impact education had on him growing up. Harry serves as one of the leaders of Black Voices Matter in Francis Howell School District as well and leads the ”FHSD is for All” Facebook page, which is dedicated to making sure the district is a diverse, equitable, and inclusive environment. In his spare time, Harry enjoys reading or catching up on favorite tv shows. Harry is a native of Hazelwood, Missouri and now resides in unincorporated St. Charles County with his wife Jamaica and son Isaiah.
